Top Power Tool Class of 2027

Grant Westphal OF / Blue Valley, KS / 2027
|
Westphal finds himself on our list again as one of the top power prospects we saw in 2025. He showed the ability to drive the ball to all fields and consistently take advantage of the gaps. While the home run totals weren’t eye-popping, his ability to slug and rack up extra-base hits is what earned him a spot on this list.
This summer, Grant totaled 17 extra-base hits, matching his singles total with nine doubles, six triples, and two home runs, finishing with a 1.324 OPS. His consistent ability to drive the baseball excites us about his future power potential as he continues to face more velocity and develop into a true long ball threat.
