TAKEO CERVANTEZ3B / C / BISHOP MANOGUE, NV / 2024One of the top Uncommitted prospects in Nevada’s 2024 Class, Cervantez continues to progress in all facets of the game. A standout at the 2023 Northern Nevada Preseason ID, he lead multiple categories during the defensive portion and has carried that success into his junior season. Usually a staple in the heart of the lineup, he did notch a hit yesterday, but where he shined was on the mound, going 6.2 inning, allowing 2 earned runs while striking out 5 in the process. Still with a youthful build, this is a Swiss Army Knife type player that could get it done in the infield, outfield, behind the dish or on the mound and will be a quality pick up for whoever lands him.
