As we move through the offseason, Prep Baseball Oregon continues our series of State Games Spotlights. This series aims to highlight standout performers at our top invite-only 2025 PNW State Games event. Prep Baseball spotlights aim to showcase players that Prep Baseball Scouts felt showed standout tools, large improvements in overall game, or potential upside moving forward. College coaches and recruiters should be sure to keep an eye on these prospects in the coming months.

Today, we spotlight '26 LHP Alexander Lopez. The senior out of Sherwood High School toed the mound in Vancouver this summer before committing to Everett CC later in 2025. 

A stocky, medium-framed arm, Lopez ran his fastball up to 82.9 MPH with plus spin rates and feel for the strike zone shown. Below is a complete player profile breakdown.
