Our Campus Series events ended last week in Rochester, NY at St. John Fisher College after a five week span that started July 3 at Niagara University. Over 250 players attended the Campus Series events with several players showing off next-level talent on the field. Over the course of the next few months we will be highlighting "Top Performer Spotlights" on players who really stood-out at a past event. Let's get started.

CEVETTE'S QUICK HIT: First impression is lean but strong frame on the mound. The mechanics are repeatable with quick pace, the long arm-swing gives a forecast of more velocity to come, and there's feel for a breaking ball already. With more effort on staying on the powerline, and gaining overall body strength, expect to see Furmanski in the mid 80's by next spring from the high 3/4 slot.
Campus Series Niagara University (July 3, 2018)
Stands 6-foot-0, 180-pounds with a pitchers build. Overall sound mechanics, high knee lift, direction towards home is direct, arm-action is fluid and quick, slight lean towards 1B side prior to release, high 3/4 slot. Fastball peaked 82 mph (up from 79 last summer). CB has hard late shape at 71-73.
