Washington Uncommitted Spotlight - '27 RHP/INF Rhyse Elder
February 2, 2026
As begin the preseason, Prep Baseball Washington features an Uncommitted Spotlight, where we highlight standout performers that attended a Prep Baseball ID event this year. Uncommitted spotlights are meant to showcase players that Prep Baseball Scouts felt showed standout tools, large improvements in overall game, or potential upside moving forward. College coaches and recruiters should be sure to keep an eye on these prospects in the coming months.
This week, we spotlight '27 RHP/INF Rhyse Elder. The physical junior out of West Valley High School was most recently seen at the Pacific Northwest Fall Games in Vancouver last October.
A 6'1, 205 pound prospect, Elder's showcases have been highlighted by mid-80's fastballs with plus breaking balls on the mound, paired with triple digit exit velocities at the plate. Below is a complete player profile breakdown.
