Cathedral Catholic vs. Poway

Alex Harrington, SS, Cathedral Catholic, 2026 (Stanford Commit)

Harrington is one of the most prominent names in the countries and for good reason. He displays a strong skillset at each of his tools and is an outright competitor on the field. The tools translate well in game, quarterbacking the game at short and in the leadoff spot. Harrington sets the tone, always putting together a competitive at-bat. He knows what he’s looking for and is confident in his eye. Harrington put together multiple strong at-bats grabbing a homerun to left field. The swing is synchronized and connected with barrel control and extension. The thing I keep coming back to is Harrington’s competitive nature. He’s always on the lookout for the small details, pumping up his teammates and being a vocal leader on the field and in the dugout.
