Silver Creek vs Lincoln

Graeson Wagner, 3B, Lincoln, 2025

Wagner had a solid game vs Silver Creek as he went 3-3 on the day. Wagner is a 6'0" 3B with a solid approach at the plate and plays a good 3B. On defense he is fluid with his movements and makes accurate throws. In game he had a hard hit ball to him as he stayed low using his body to block and make an accurate throw, showing his commitment to make a play. In the box, he is an aggressive hitter that likes to swing early in the count and he excels with consistently making contact. It might not be the hardest hit balls, but they always find a hole, which is good for his aggressive approach.  He does a good job at keeping his hands close to his body, being able to keep a simple, compact swing directly towards the baseball. All of his hits were to his pull side, showing he is able to consistently get the barrel out in front and hit pitches in his zone. Wagner is an important piece to this Lincoln squad that looks to continue their hot start to the season.
