UT Fall Top Prospect Games: Quick Hits - Infielders
November 4, 2025
The Utah Fall Top Prospects Games took place on Saturday/Sunday, November 1-2 @ Utah Valley University. This event will feature a collection of promising prospects from Utah's 2026–2029 graduating classes, each aiming to display the progress they have made over the course of the busy Summer and Fall schedule.
The UT Fall TPG allowed our staff to evaluate prospects before the Winter offseason. The event served as an identifier for future invite-only events such as the Preseason All-State, Top Prospect Games, Future Games, and more.
Each participant received a full Prep Baseball profile update, including headshot, video, showcase statistics, and advanced data analysis. With profile access by more than 1000 college programs across the country, the event provided valuable exposure for players while offering an in-depth evaluation heading into the offseason.

Cruz Adams 3B / RHP / American Fork, UT / 2028Rankings StateRank: 7 / POS: 1
I’ve known Cruz since he was 9 years old and he has shown steady improvement every year, displaying consistent growth and maturity seemingly month to month. I got my first look at him in a few years, and he did not disappoint. He checks all the boxes for the 5 tool prospect: hit for power/contact, speed, arm, defense (102 EV/6.9/86 INF velo). With noticeable physical growth in the past year, at 6’2 190lbs his ceiling continues to rise. Proving why he is in our Top 10 for the 2028 Class, I expect Cruz to play an integral role for American Fork this season in their attempt to win back to back 6A State Titles.

Preston Higgins 3B / RHP / Canyon View, UT / 2029Rankings StateRank: 4 / POS: 2
Preston really shows signs of elite potential with his 6’4 frame and ability to play multiple positions. Despite being a two sport athlete (Football) and putting the baseball down the last few months, Preston set new personal bests in multiple categories this weekend. For his size and youth, he has quality footwork and hands on the infield with above average arm strength. Offensively advanced with an ability to utilize his leverage and drive the ball through the gaps. I am intrigued with the skill set and maturity for his age, and would not be surprised to see him play a potentially significant role for the reigning 3A State Champs this year as a Freshman.

Gage Lintz SS / 2B / Copper Hills, UT / 2027Rankings StateRank: 31 / POS: 7
I got a chance to see Gage this Summer and his defense really stood out. Certain players display a sense of ease when they play their respective positions, and Gage is that up the middle. Smooth, clean, natural actions including quick hands and excellent feet, he moves through the ball extremely well and understands the internal clock. Elite speed that continues to improve as well as the hit tool that has made big jumps since July. One of the cleaner infielders in the State, I am eager to follow the remainder of his career.

Max Martin SS / OF / Timpanogos, UT / 2028Rankings StateRank: 21 / POS: 7
Max continues to show high level play at our events, and in-game. Have had the chance to see Max play a number of times and he seemingly produces more times than not. Smooth but powerful swing with plus leverage and a knack for timing, the offense is the primary tool and could take him a long way. Defensively sound and above average arm strength, I could see him playing any of the 4 infield spots moving forward. Versatility to play just about anywhere on the field, combined with advanced offensive skills, Max is on the rise and could have a breakout Varsity campaign in 2026.

Cash Stump 3B / RHP / Viewmont, UT / 2027Rankings StateRank: 39 / POS: 3
The 6’1 Junior continues to showcase his offseason work with new personal bests in multiple categories. He looks the part of a solid CIF at the next level with a legit hit tool. On plane through the zone with a middle approach, the intent to do damage is apparent. Defensively you can see adjustments with technique and consistent arm strength, topping 87 across the diamond. Intriguing look at the new Viewmont infielder this weekend.

Marshal Moon SS / 2B / West Field, UT / 2026Rankings StateRank: 41 / POS: 11
Pound for pound, Marshal is certainly one of the top players in the State at his position. Don’t let a lack of height fool you, the kid can play. Quick hands and feet with a short, repeatable LH swing that plays to both gaps combined with relentless work ethic and time invested into his game daily; he is seeing the fruits of that labor this year. From the time I met him in Summer until now, the improvement has been significant. He put up another strong performance in the workout portion of the weekend, and played very well during the live action game. If you’re looking for a consistent, productive player that’s also an excellent teammate, look no further than Marshal Moon.

Jack Salmon SS / 2B / Wasatch, UT / 2027Rankings StateRank: 59 / POS: 14
Steady growth and improvement over time is what you like to see from players as an evaluator, and Jack has been on that trajectory all Summer/Fall. Lean, athletic frame that generates more power than expected at 5’9 165lbs. The biggest jump came during the BP rounds, where Jack put up new PR’s in all areas including a 101.2 EV/96 average, which put him top 2 for the entire event. Consistent ability to back spin LD’s and square up the ball, a breakout season could be on the horizon!

Ali Carrillo Jr. SS / 3B / Copper Hills, UT / 2027Rankings StateRank: 35 / POS: 8
When I think about dudes that play the game out of pure love, Ali comes to mind. Having known him since 11u days, I can really see that same love and passion years later as he progresses through his HS career. He plays the game with a real intent and focus to dominate his moments. The type of player who puts in the real work to be better everyday, and that confidence is apparent when watching him play; he expects success. Powerful lower half and ability generate loft and carry in the swing. Keep your eyes on Ali this year, I’m anticipating solid production.

Jens Price 3B / 2B / American Fork, UT / 2028Rankings StateRank: 18 / POS: 2
Quiet, poised demeanor with a frame that stands to keep growing with room for added muscle and weight. That’s considerable since he is already a big kid for his age at 6’1/170, and showing signs of legit production at a high level. He put together an all around strong performance and really impressed offensively. He keeps his hands inside the ball well and extends through contact to generate impressive pop and distance repeatedly. Intriguing look at the Caveman Sophomore and will be on my shortlist to continue to follow moving forward.

Taylor Mascaro RHP / 1B / Cedar Valley School, UT / 2027Rankings StateRank: 54 / POS: 10
Taylor has made significant physical jumps and you can see the time he has invested into his body. The added 10lbs of muscle did not slow him down, as he actually shaved time off his 60 since July’s TPG (7.16 > 7.07). He plays the game with apparent confidence and carries himself well on the field. The intent to get the barrel out offensively is clear, and he shows the ability to repeat his timing and swing. A recent transfer to Cedar Valley HS, he projects to play a crucial role for the Aviators and their team success in 2026.

Graham Fuller C / SS / Bountiful, UT / 2029I love the way Graham attacks his events and showcases to this point. We met this Fall and again this weekend at TPG, the improvement is noticeable. Tall frame with long levers, including a strong right arm that really plays all over the field. I’ve seen him workout both behind the plate and at SS, the ability is there and will continue to grow with time. Intriguing, versatile player that with his attitude and mindset toward the game, I fully expect to improve year after year.
