2025 Prep Baseball All-American Game
INVITE ONLY EVENT
This event is by invite-only. Please choose the option below to proceed:
After the successful launch of the Prep Baseball All-American Game last year, the game comes to Miami in 2024 and promises to be bigger and better.
One thing won’t change: The All-American Game will still feature the best high school baseball talent in the nation, with the top high school seniors taking on the best junior prospects to see which class reigns supreme.
The classes of 2025 and 2026 will face off on Saturday, Sept. 14 at loanDepot Park, home of the Miami Marlins. Both teams will participate in a workout day at the ballpark on Friday, Sept. 13, as part of a full weekend of activities.
“The All-American Game exceeded all of our expectations in the first year, so we are really challenging ourselves to continue to elevate the experience for the players, families and the scouting community,” Prep Baseball President Sean Duncan said. “Bringing the game to Miami is one way to do that, and we’ll keep adding to it as we get closer to game day.
“One thing I hope we never change is the two classes facing off against each other. It makes the game more meaningful and led to impressive performances in year one.”
The Class of 2025 will be defending its title in the second All-American Game, this time as the seniors. The ‘25s beat the Class of 2024 in the inaugural game 5-3 at Milwaukee’s American Family Field. Two-way standout Josh Hammond won the first MVP award after pitching a dominant, scoreless inning on the mound and hitting an RBI double. Hammond, a North Carolina product committed to Wake Forest, is now the No. 10 prospect in the Class of ‘25.
Former major league standout Matt Holliday will be back at the helm leading the Class of 2025 team again this year. Matt’s son, Ethan, is the No. 1-ranked prospect in the 2025 class and started at shortstop in last year’s game.
Prep Baseball Report’s scouting staff will select the rosters for the event. Each squad will feature about 20 of the best prospects in its class, giving professional scouts an exceptional opportunity to see premium talent in one place, and in high-level matchups.
“The All-American Game raised the bar for us and established a standard that we hope to exceed on a yearly basis,” said Shooter Hunt, Prep Baseball’s Vice President of Scouting. “As always, great players drive the success of an event like this, and the players who were in Milwaukee shined both on and off the field. Whether it was the upperclassmen asserting themselves or the underclassmen announcing their presence, it was a stellar opportunity for both.
“I can’t wait to see the next group of budding stars grab the spotlight in year two.”
Mizuno, one of Prep Baseball’s signature partners, helped to make the first All-American Game an unforgettable experience for the players, with custom uniforms and gloves and other exclusive gear. They plan to do even more in 2024.
“We at Mizuno USA are pleased to continue strengthening our longtime partnership with our support of the second annual Prep Baseball All-American Game,” said Mizuno Senior Marketing Manager Clint Sammons. ”Prep Baseball continues to adapt, always keeping what’s best for the athlete at the forefront, and the All-American Game is a great example of a truly premier platform for players to showcase their talents on a Major League field.
“Mizuno is fully committed to continue doing our part to create a unique and memorable experience for the players and their families, while continuing to provide premium baseball products for use in the game and beyond.”
Vs. Cancer will also return as the official charity partner for the All-American Game. Vs. Cancer, a program of the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, raises money for the fight against pediatric brain cancer, supporting both the families going through treatment as well as medical research.
A unique aspect of the Vs. Cancer charity partnership is that it involves the players participating in the game, similar to the fundraising model that Vs. Cancer uses for teams across the country. Each player in the All-American Game will have his own fundraising page, and they’ll compete individually and as classes.
SCOUTING, TECHNOLOGY AND DATA ANALYSIS IN ONE EVENT
PBR PROFILE
Every prospect's recruiting process starts and ends with the PBR Profile and our showcases revolve around that player profile. For first time attendees, a new PBR profile will be created, hosting all of your information, videos, head shot, metrics and more, making it one of your single most important tools in the recruiting process. Repeat showcase performances will continue to update your PBR profile, creating a history of prospect progress and ensuring the most up-to-date information is easily accessible throughout the fast-paced scouting community. These profiles are also searchable by a range of data points and metrics through our advanced search engine, making it a one stop shop for recruiters and scouts.
MIZUNO
Mizuno will be providing premium baseball attire and equipment for players all throughout the weekend. Players will receive polos, hats, uniforms, bats, gloves, cleats, catcher equipment, and much more.
STATS
PBR stats are the industry standard in the scouting community, carrying the highest credibility in actionable data. PBR profiles are the most reliable resources for prospect information due to this reason alone. Stats are collected using only the highest of standard equipment including Swift laser timers, Trackman and Stalker radars. All stats are hosted in player profiles accompanied by recently launched Performance Tiers that show where a prospect ranks among his peers.
VIDEO
All prospect performances will be professionally video taped, edited and uploaded into their PBR Profile. Videos will consist of multiple angles and record all aspects of the showcase including 60’s, live batting practice, and defensive performances. Videos are hosted in PBR Profiles and used for video spotlights, content, social media and more. Videos are accessible to all PBR+ subscribers.
SCOUTING REPORTS
The Prep Baseball Report is built at the hands of some of the most tenured and respected scouts in the industry. We pride ourselves on our level of prospect knowledge, most of which is gained through PBR events. Showcases are designed and engineered by state Scouting Directors with the goal of collecting as much information about a prospect as possible and relaying our findings to the public through data collection and scouting reports.
POST-EVENT CONTENT
One of the many results of a PBR showcase is getting all the information collected to the public in a timely and digestible manner. Every showcase will be featured on the Prep Baseball Report website and social channels through various forms of post-event content, leaderboards, video spotlights and more.
ACCOUNT DASHBOARD
In an effort to elevate the post-event experience for players who attend a PBR Showcase, the Account Dashboard is now your one stop shop to view all of your post-event deliverables, including your Video, TrackMan, Blast Data, Vizual Edge Score and more. Your Dashboard also gives you a window into upcoming events, calendar management and more.
