Updated Class of 2028 Rankings: Pre-Spring Update

With the season approaching, we release our Pre-Spring Update to the Class of 2028 Player Rankings, a snapshot of Alabama’s sophomore class entering a spring that often brings the first real separation of the cycle. This group is built on upside and projection, and with meaningful varsity reps ahead, the board has plenty of room to shift once game performance takes over.

For this update, we leaned into a combination of athletic traits, tool sustainability, defensive value, and early role clarity. At this stage, the 2028 class is still developing physically, so expect movement as players gain strength, establish everyday roles, and prove their tools translate consistently in games.
