Mountain Pointe proved to be too much for visiting Lake Oswego (OR), winning 6-3 after being down after the first inning. Mountain Pointe starter Nathan Ward had a rough start, hitting the lead-off batter and allowing a double and triple, for the Lakers to take the early lead. Ward would settle in from there, not allowing another run and forcing weak contact for the rest of his 5.0 innings.
