It’s a Tuesday night and Miamisburg HS, OH, is celebrating its senior class. Each senior player was introduced over the loudspeaker and their post high school plans are read off as they circle the bases shaking hands with teammates and coaches before meeting their parents at third base. As RHP Jeremy Randolph walked through the receiving line, the announcer simply said Randolph wished to attend “a college or university” to study business and sports management. Had senior night been a few months ago, Wright State may have been mentioned, but Randolph still has a decision to make. He was set to be a preferred walk-on at Wright State, but came into some velocity this spring and several other schools have come into the recruiting picture.
