Each week throughout the high school season, we will announce the Prep Baseball Washington Pitcher and Hitter of the Week, recognizing standout performances from across the state. With numerous players excelling both at the plate and on the mound, this award will be based on nominations submitted through our POTW Google Form.
Additionally, we will continue our Washington Diamond Notes to highlight other deserving players nominated by coaches who were not selected as the Pitcher or Hitter of the Week.
This week's Pitcher of the Week is '25 RHP Orlando Young (Federal Way).

Senior arm earns Pitcher of the Week honors for week 3 after an outstanding outing, striking out 18 hitters in 6 innings pitched. The Washington commit allowed just one walk, while surrendering no runs or hits. Young is the 9th ranked senior in the state and a superb two-way talent. |
