The Oklahoma high school baseball season kicks off on Feb. 24 for classes A and B and Mar. 1 for classes 2A-6A, opening day for regular season action under OSSAA regulations. Leading up to opening day, we’ll be publishing our team previews ahead of the 2025 spring season, touching on programs spanning all state classifications, counting down to the official Prep Baseball Oklahoma Preseason Power 25 Rankings.

Perennially, we’ve submitted a preseason questionnaire to high school head coaches across the entire state. Their responses have been flooding in and we’re using the detailed insight they’ve provided in our team-by-team preseason analysis.

2025 SEASON OUTLOOK

No. of Returning Position Players: 6

Top Returners:

Christian Day - SR Outfielder, 6'1" 185 - Will hit at the top of the lineup and run. He is also a very good defensive player who can cover a lot of ground.

Preston Baublit - JR Outfielder, 5'9" 170 - The other guy at the top of the order who can really run. Has a great combination of power and speed at the plate.

Brody Hailey - JR 1B/C, 6'0 255- Moving to first base this season. Is a very good hitter who is able to hit for average and power. Will be back in the middle of the line up and drive in a lot of runs.

Ethan Vinson - JR P/SS - Versatile defender who can play everywhere. Will also be one of our starters on the mound. Gained lots of experience last season as a Soph.

Caleb Adams - JR P/3B, 6'2" 175 - Won the 3B job last spring and locked down the left side of the infield. Has gotten bigger and stronger this fall. Also going to pitch more as a JR.

Cooper Cunningham - Soph C, 5'10" 180 - Solid everyday backstop who had improved at the plate. Will continue to grow and get better every game.

Ryan Rogers - SR RHP, 6'1 190 - Big strong righty who is going to be called on a lot this spring to come out of the pen.

Tyler Keeling - SR RHP, 6'4" 180 - Strike thrower with all pitches. Will be used in every role on the mound. Goes in and competes no matter what.

Top Newcomers:

Ryan Barfield - JR, RHP 6' 180 - going to give us good innings on the mound.

Aiden Arrick - Soph INF 5'8" 160 - spark plug.

Chase Watson - Fr RHP 6'5" 180, Great size, drive and potential to be a special player.
