With our 2026 event calendar on the horizon, our staff has dedicated some time to reflect on the top statistical performers that we saw at our events in 2025. We'll be shining some light on Wisconsin natives who put up loud numbers in 2025, showcasing their tools to our staff at Prep Baseball Wisconsin events.

These leaderboards were compiled solely based on numbers at our state events, including Super 60, Preseason IDs, All-States, Open events, Future Games, and the All-American Game, too.

Check out the Leaderboard stories that we've rolled out over the last few weeks:

Yesterday, we broke down our 2025 event leaderboards with the top average bat speed. Today we will look at the top average rotational acceleration speed from 2025.

By the numbers breakdown:

  • 14 prospects had an average rotational acceleration over 25 g across all four grad classes.
  • 10 2026 prospects had an average rotational acceleration over 22 g.
  • 19 2027 prospects had an average rotational acceleration 20 g.
  • 11 2028 prospects had an average rotational acceleration over 18 g.

Body Rotation: A swing that has the appropriate relative contributions of body and bat rotations is an efficient and Powerful swing that maintains proper sequencing. An efficient baseball swing is one in which the body creates the initial movements, which is then transferred to the arms and out to the bat, thereby maximizing Bat Speed through this proximal-to-distal kinematic sequencing movement pattern.
