Wisconsin Staff

With the fall circuit fully behind us, we are hitting the refresh button on the rankings one last time as we get into the off-season. There was a bit of movement throughout, as well as some new names added that we will touch on tomorrow.

For now, take a look at some of the notable movement in this update, below.

AT THE TOP

Most of the Top-10 remains the same in this update while garnering some attention and helium nationally, MIF Kyle Rogosienski (Muskego; Vanderbilt), OF/C Logan Hagman (Hudson; Minnesota), INF Cooper Schaefgen (Oconomowoc; Louisville), OF Ira Hilbelink (Cedar Grove-Belgium) sit atop the class after enjoying productive and impactful summer/fall circuits.

Rogosienski is a left-handed hitting middle infielder with a potential top of the order skillset at the plate and a history of taking competitive and quality at-bats. Defensively has all the tools to remain at shortstop and potentially provide quality defense at a high-level.

Kyle Rogosienski (9/27/25)

Hagman has hit every time our staff has seen him. The impact from the right side stands out, looking to do damage on every swing while flashing promising bat-to-ball traits that make the right-handed hitter a potential impact bat at the next level.

Logan Hagman (4/19/25)

Schaefgen has produced against some of the state’s top “stuff” being a two-year varsity performer in one of the top conferences in the state. Confident at-bats with barrel feel and the ability to use the entire field. Capable defender in the dirt with a chance to stick on the left-side long term to pair.

Cooper Schaefgen (4/15/25)

Hilbelink has been one of the state’s top bats since starting his prep career. The power stands out and has shown the ability to consistently get to the power in his at-bats against some quality competition. Quality reads and jumps in center with a chance to stick and provide quality defense at a high level with improved foot speed.

Ira Hilbelink (Future Games)

A trio of arms have separated themselves RHP Dylan Schreiber (Waukesha West; Purdue), LHP Cal Schneider (New Berlin Eisenhower; Louisville), RHP Jacob Coisman (Luxemburg-Casco; Cincinnati) have all seen their prospect status increase greatly since the start of the year. Schreiber remains the top pitcher in the state and is making a jump nationally as well inside the Top-300. 6-foot-6 frame that stands out with feel for multiple pitches from a unique low slot. Schneider has tossed some of the top outings in front of our staff this year and was a key piece to New Berlin Eisenhower’s state title this past spring, definite starter with polish and touch and feel.

Coisman was a winner from the fall tournament at The Rock, reaching 92 mph with his fastball with life out of the hand while spinning an upside and firm breaking ball. Making his national debut inside the Top-300 as well, still more left in the tank from a velo perspective with the feel to spin standing out.

Jacob Coisman (9/20/25)

C Jack Spielmann (Milton; West Virginia), OF Chace Staude (Kettle Moraine; Notre Dame) round out the Wisconsin prep prospects that are rising inside the Top-300 nationally, further emphasizing on the depth and quality of the class.

Spielmann has really shown he can impact the baseball, the left-handed hitter swing a powerful and explosive bat with feel for the barrel and consistent hard contact. The defense is promising as well with a ceiling of providing quality defense to pair with a potential impact left-handed bat inside a lineup.

Jack Spielmann (9/21/25)

Staude is a twitchy left-handed hitting center fielder with a promising bat at the plate. Twitchy bat speed, sprays live drive contact across the field with speed on the bases that play up. Defensively projects as an impact defender in the outfield with a ceiling of a high-end center fielder.

Chace Staude (9/14/25)

STANDOUT BATS

Position players dominate most of the Top-25, which is unique for a class in Wisconsin, especially including the amount of prospects from the Badger State that are rising nationally. Continuing the trend of high-end position players C Grady Cheever (Germantown) and C Haaken Hovestol (Delevan-Darien) are potential high-end defenders behind the plate with promising bats. Cheever is a true switch hitter that was able to take some consistent and quality at-bats on both sides during the Future Games. Hovestol is a smooth swinging left-handed hitter with feel to elevate the ball in the air and even more power to grow into as he matures.

Grady Cheever (Future Games)

INF/OF Ryan Rose (West Bend West), OF/INF Cooper Wendt (Muskego) both offer some of the top upside athletically in the class. Already boasting top of the class athleticism on a national level while steadily improving both at the plate and in the field. Rose is more physical and flashed some power in his right-handed bat to pair with the high-end athleticism. Defensively Rose could provide quality defense at a number of spots across the diamond due to the athleticism, whether that be in the dirt or the outfield. Wendt is a twitchy right-handed hitter with tools across the board, to pair with similar athleticism to Rose, looking like a versatile defender that can play multiple spots in the dirt and outfield.

Ryan Rose (Future Games)

Cooper Wendt (WI State Games)

MIF Cooper Sievert (Wisconsin Lutheran; West Virginia) and INF Brady Helms (Hartford Union; Penn State) have both really performed at the plate throughout the year while showing the ability to stick in the infield and provide quality or better defense. Sievert committed to West Virginia shortly after the Future Games, steady right-handed hitter that keeps getting better with an arm that plays on the left-side of the infield. Helms was one of the top hitters during the spring season and was a key piece for Hartford Union’s state finals run. The bat to ball has stood out and he started to drive the ball more into the summer, with more impact seemingly on the way as well.

Brady Helms (WI State Games)

Another pair of Future Gamers for Team Wisconsin, OF Kingston Grisolono (Kewaskum) and OF Carter Fry (Wisconsin Lutheran) are two uncommitted outfielders with tools that have played in game for out staff. Grisolono is one of the strongest left-handed bats in the state with easy power to all fields and is a capable defender with arm strength in the outfield. Fry is an explosive athlete for his size with standout run times and more pop in the bat than you would expect. Launched a home run against Team Illinois at the Future Games and was a consistent producer during the spring/summer circuits.

Kingston Grisolono (Future Games)

CIF Eli Bauler (Monona Grove) and C/1B Tyler Flemming (Waukesha North) are a pair of left-handed hitters with upside at the plate. Bauler took one of the best rounds at the Wisconsin State Games reaching a max exit velocity of 104 throughout his round while launching multiple home runs. Flemming swings with intent to do damage, the ball jumps off the barrel as well to pair with steady improvements behind the plate.

Eli Bauler (WI State Games)

MIF Jonny Deets (Monona Grove) and MIF Braun Wotruba (Pulaski) are a pair of advanced infielders with feel to hit. Deets has been a prospect our staff has been following since before he began his prep career. Looks like a defender capable of sticking up the middle with an athletic arm that plays from multiple slots, there's some bat speed and strength at the plate with growing feel to hit in game. Wotruba was a breakout this winter and had a strong spring on varsity and would continue to stand out across the summer.

Jonny Deets (3/16/25)

UPSIDE ARMS

After Schneider the left-handers in this class continue to impress and establish themselves much earlier than normal. LHP Mason Horn (Muskego; Purdue), LHP Joey Shaw (Muskego), LHP Mark Susa (Hudson) and LHP Drew Stettbacher (Horace Mann; Central Michigan) each represented Team Wisconsin at the Future Games. Horn was a standout back in the spring when he was a key piece for Muskego while working in a variety of roles, including some starting opportunities and higher-leverage relief appearances. Wants the ball in those situations and fills up the zone with a lively fastball and a sharp breaking ball. Shaw’s fastball and breaking ball are two pitches that can beat hitters in the zone right now, also QB1 for one of the top programs in the state. Susa is an imposing left-hander with clear room to add to his 6-foot-4 frame, clean mover through the delivery with arm speed and feel for three different pitches. Took over as the ace for one of the top programs in the state as a sophomore. Stettbacher committed to Central Michigan following the summer, unique east/west arsenal with feel to work around the zone with arm speed.

Rounding out the upside pitchers in the class RHP Chase Wolter (Whitefish Bay) and RHP Maxwell Lubenow (Madison West) have some of the best stuff in the state’s class respectively. Wolter is a multi-sport athlete and plays a quality shortstop for his high school program. At the Future Games the fastball routinely beat a lot of talented hitters in the zone with feel to spin a firm sweeping slider and flashing a changeup. Lubenow was perhaps the biggest winner at this years Wisconsin State Games showing promising strikeout stuff when near the zone while reaching 89 mph with the fastball and a breaking ball that you can project on as a future swing and miss pitch.

Chase Wolter (Future Games)

Maxwell Lubenow (WI State Games)

TWO-WAYS

There’s a number of power bats/arm two-way players inside the state as well, RHP/INF Carter Gordon (Germantown), RHP/INF Eli Dreier (Wisconsin Lutheran) and RHP/INF Aedan Waterstreet (Appleton North). Gordon is one of the top arms in the class when healthy and one of the strongest right-handed hitters to pair, also a football prospect inside the state as well. The fastball gets on hitters quick with clear an easy arm strength breaking ball, there’s easy strength to pair at the plate with easy bat speed and power. Dreier has a potentially electric fastball with a big breaking ball that gets swing and miss, easy bat strength from the right-side to pair with feel to leverage the ball in the air.

Waterstreet was a pop up name over the summer circuit that ended up earning an invite to the Future Games where he stood out as one of the lesser known prospects at the event. Easy left-handed swing with feel to cover the entire plate as well as spray the ball across the field, carry fastball up to 87 mph with feel to spin a firm two-plane breaking ball.

Aedan Waterstreet (Future Games)

TOP-50 RISERS

C Ethan Miller (Slinger), MIF Mason Sturma (Waterford Union) look to be able to stick at their respective positions for the long-term providing more than capable defense while still improving. Miller is the highest riser of the update and has a history of being able to handle high-end velo and stuff with ease. Sturma has really impressed in our live looks of him at short, the bat has steadily improved to pair.

C Tyler Smeiska (Mukwonago) and C Alex Solberg (New Richmond) have both impressed with their bats in-game. Bat speed and bat strength from both right-handed hitters with feel for the barrel. Both prospects have made gains defensively adding to the intrigue as catchers that can provide value both at and behind the plate.

OF Zachary Steichen (Brookfield East), OF Colton Topp (Arrowhead), OF Camden Glusick (Sun Prairie East), OF Sam Jandrisevits (New Berlin West) have all seen their production tick up over the past year with the bat. Steichen provides some pop from the left-side to pair with quality defense at either corner outfield spot. Topp broke out this year as an athletic left-handed hitting outfielder with bat speed and feel for the barrel. Glusick seems to have the “hitting gene” similar to his brother, although bigger than his brother while running a sub 6.7 with quality defense in centerfield. Jandreisevits constantly takes quality at-bats and finds a way on base, with some of the top bat-to-ball traits in the class.

A number of high-end and upside arms find their way rising into the top-50 inside this update. It feel like just the beginning for this group of arms as well to start RHP Lucas Weber (Whitnall) has tossed multiple quality outings in front of our staff flashing a swing and miss arsenal with seemingly more in the tank. RHP Taylor Rampetsreiter (Brookfield Central) has shown a high upside arsenal with advanced stuff and a quick arm. RHP Rhett Lamovec (Loyal) broke out at the Wausau Preseason ID last winter and was a name our staff had followed throughout the spring as he was named Conference Player of the Year. RHP Derrik Beckstrand (Elkhorn Area) was a big winner this fall, reaching upper-80s velo with feel to spin while working in the zone throughout an extended outing. RHP Michael Suokko (Westosha Central) is am imposing right-hander with arm strength and stuff that gets on hitters with a ceiling you can project on.
