The initial 2019 Overall Rankings were released Tuesday, so this week’s Hotlist is continuing the focus on the freshman class. Listed alphabetically below are freshmen contributing on varsity this season.

Luke Burner, OF, Highland School, VA
Burner has an athletic frame and hits from the left side, starting from an open stance. He takes a short swing with good bat speed and has a good approach, using the entire field and consistently barreling the ball. For Highland School, he is hitting .467 with 14 RBIs and four stolen bases. He has also contributed five innings on the mound where he has struck out seven and not allowed an earned run.
