The spring season is here and we're busy at Draft HQ equipping you with everything you need to see how the college and high school seasons are affecting MLB war rooms in real-time. We recently published our early spring edition of the Spring Mock Draft as well as the latest Draft HQ Top-200 overall rankings. We're breaking down the rest of the players who warrant draft consideration into separate groups, since this is more representative of how pro organizations conduct their business during the draft itself.

Here's our take on the top college prospects at each of the following positions: shortstop, catcher, outfield, corner infield/utility, right-handed pitcher, left-handed pitcher. We conducted this same exercise with the high school players already, which you can find on this page, the High School Positional Rankings.

The following rankings were updated on April 1, 2026.

"After a position change from the hot corner, Grahovac is the best of the group with elite (72.6 mph) bat speed and 70-grade raw power. However, a season-ending loss to the sophomore-eligible Bailey diminishes this class of college first base prospects."
