It was a big day in 7A conference races, as we get close to the playoffs. North Little Rock Defeated Conway, giving them 1 1/2 game lead over Conway for the race for the coveted 2 spot in the Central. Cabot defeated Southside 5-0 putting the Panthers in the drivers seat for the 7A Central Conference Title. They have a 3 game lead with 5 games remaining. Northside defeated Central, a game that maybe over looked by some, however this victory gives the Grizzlies a solid foothold in the race for the final spot in the play offs, tied now with Catholic High at 3-6. Both teams have a 2 game lead over Central and Southside.

The 7A West had a similar day of separation. Har-ber defeated Fayetteville to take a 1 game lead for first place. They play the second game of the series tonight, a Har-Ber win will give the Wild-Cats a 2. 1/2 game lead with 4 remaining. A Fayetteville win tonight and it will be a jumbled up mess at the top. Rogers defeated Bentonville, continueing to show a youthful team growing up. They now have a 2 game lead over Heritage and Bentonville West with just 4 games remaining. Although they do play Bentonville West next week, they look safe. Springdale had a similar day, knocking off Van Buren in the first game of that series to move to 4-5 in league play. A win over Van Buren later in the week, would give them a 3 cushion for the final spot.
