What's New In The Top 10

Devlan Daniel OF / RHP / Indian Hill, OH / 2027

Report: Devlan Daniel stays atop the rankings in this update after spending the bulk of his fall eluding would-be tacklers on the football field. That speed and agility is prominent in his game on the basepaths, Devlan stole 15 bases last spring in 25 games last spring. The switch-hitting outfielder will look to have another massive season this year for Indian Hill.

Noah Goettke OF / RHP / Archbishop Moeller, OH / 2027

Report: Remaining at two is Noah Goettke from Archbishop Moeller. Time will tell what role he plays in the Crusader offense this spring, there’s certainly the potential there for a murderer's row of power bats in Ponatoski, Cuozzo, and Goettke.

Notable Newcomers

Wyatt Mckee OF / RHP / Keystone, OH / 2027

Report: 6-foot, 205-pound outfield that runs a 6.6, is 90+ from the outfield and has power to all fields. The tooled up prospect showed out for T3 this fall and broke into the rankings at #38.

Brennan Shaffer C / 1B / Kenton Ridge High School, OH / 2027

Report: 6-foot-2, 200-pound catcher from Kenton Ridge that has a pro-build and is a player we’re excited to see this year. The former JFG participant enters the rankings inside the Top 50.

Ethan Keffaber C / 1B / Lebanon High School, OH / 2027

Report: 6-foot-3, 188-pound catcher from Lebanon joins the rankings at #51 in this update. A high upside athlete that looks the part and performed well this fall.

Fall Showcase Standouts

Brayden Colleran C / 1B / Saint Ignatius, OH / 2027

Report: The 6-foot-3, 185-pound catcher from St. Ignatius impressed again at State Games and is primed for a breakout year in 2025. The sweet left-handed swing produces natural loft into the alleys and makes him one of the more dangerous XBH threats in the state.

Nathan Kramer RHP / 3B / Archbishop McNicholas, OH / 2027

Report: The projectable RHP looked the part at State Games and gave glimpses into what could be a promising future on the mound. Currently the two-pitch mix features a fastball at 82-85 T86 with a slider a 71-72. With more consistency in his pitch shape there will be a lot to like here.

Aidan Mcmillan OF / RHP / Wooster, OH / 2027

Report: Aidan McMillan performed well at the Ohio Fall Underclass Games in Xenia back in October. He’s a physical outfielder with a short, quick swing that competes well in the box and has middle of the order type traits.

Prospects To Look At This Spring

Nolan Klingbeil RHP / 1B / Medina Buckeye, OH / 2027

Report: Climbing up to #11, the (checks notes) 6-foot-8, 210-pound RHP is going to be turning heads all spring and summer. The right-hander’s 4-pitch mix includes a fastball that runs into the upper 8’s with some signs of ride and run at times and is complemented by two distinct breaking balls and a change up. Circle the name, there will be a lot of interest around this kid when August 1st comes.

Riley Verderber RHP / 3B / Lakewood, OH / 2027

Report: One of the better two-way threats in the state, the power hitting left-handed bat showed well a number of times for the Prep Baseball staff and that success continued with Release this summer. The physicality jumps off the page at 6-foot-5, 215-pounds with broad shoulders and a strong lower half. Riley will be one to watch this spring at Lakewood.

Mason Cerovac 1B / Olmsted Falls, OH / 2027

Report: A name to keep an eye on this coming season is LHP Mason Cerovac. The southpaw is built like an ox with reports of him being in the mid to upper 8’s. An inside linebacker from Olmsted Falls, he brings that physicality with him onto the baseball field and will be looking to make some noise in 2025.
