2026 Preseason All-State Teams

The 2026 season is my 16th season with Prep Baseball Ohio and as with each of the previous 15 years, I can't ask for a better job. Yeah the weather could be better in March and April, crossing fingers to have pleasant weather this season, but seeing these kids battle through the conditions that Ohio brings is great.

Ohio is loaded with talent all over the Buckeye state from Division I to Division VII, from SW Ohio to NE Ohio to NW Ohio to SE Ohio, and everywhere in between. Below you will find numerous preseason lists. We start with the Elite 25, along with the "September Call-Ups" and the Starting Nine. After that we have the All-State Teams for Division I-Division-VII. Lastly, we have our Regional Teams, with the best of the best from the SW, NW/N, NE, and C/SE all representing their area. For the divisional lists, we include 60 players listed within the 1st/2nd teams along with an extensive sized list of honorable mention prospects. All of this can also be viewed in PDF form, seen here.

The list is formed based on a multitude of factors, some weighted more than others. The factors include 2025 performance, improvement shown at summer/fall/winter showcases, 2026 projection, coaches recommendations, strength of competition, team performance, etc.

We at Prep Baseball Ohio would like to congratulate all that made the list. As you can see, this is a comprehensive list that we put in numerous hours of work to complete. We hope you all enjoy the list and have outstanding spring campaigns. Just know that this preseason list has no barrings on the All-State Teams that will be released after the season, as that is all based on success on the field this season.
