This season our staff decided to add a new dynamic to the high school season content. We have drafted fantasy teams for six of our staff members that are out on the road taking in the Virginia/DC high school season. Each team is made up of thirteen players from across the area. This group of players was selected by each staff in a fantasy snake draft format. Each staff member had to select and designate each player's position. This group is made up of the following positions: 1 Catcher, 1 First Baseman, 3 Infielders, 3 Outfielders, 1 Utility/2-Way, 1 Designated Hitter, and 3 Pitchers. 

A few additional notes:

• this is just for fun and to add something different to our usual content for the spring season
• this has nothing to do with recruiting, rankings, or anything other than projecting potential stats for the 2026 season
• players must remain on the team, unless there is an injury
• a player can only collect points at the position or category they have been designated for at the beginning of the season 
  • i.e. a pitcher cannot capitalize on offensive stats and vice versa for position players that pitch
• stats will not begin to be tabulated until the VHSL season begins *all seasons will have begun on March 23rd*
• season will conclude after the VISAA tournament on May 16th
