#12 Highland School 0, Steward 2

There wasn't much offense to go around on Saturday as both teams were locked in a old fashioned pitching duel. '27 Kaden Zimorowicz (JMU) and '26 Liam Bunner (CNU) only gave up two runs in their combined outing for the Hawks. '26 Tex Stinnett (Belhaven) had a spectacular performance on the mound going seven shutout innings only giving up one hit. The two runs for the Spartans came from a two run homerun from '27 Brooks Johnson. It was a quality early season win for the Spartans.
