Pitcher of the Week (March 10-15): RHP Reece Hudson
March 17, 2025
The Prep Baseball Idaho High School Pitcher of the Week highlights the best performance for an Idaho High School player from the previous week. Each week, High School coaches across the State are asked to fill out our questionnaire for Pitcher and Player of the Week, along with our scouting staff attending games and scouring box scores throughout the week. Every Saturday a link will be pushed out on social accounts to the Player/Pitcher of the Week questionnaire with a deadline of Saturday night at 11:59PM, followed by the announcement on Sunday.
This weeks 'Pitcher of the Week' honor goes to '25 RHP Tommy Reece Hudson (Rocky Mountain HS) after throwing a 7 inning shut out with 4 strikeouts, 1 walk, while only throwing 81 pitches in his first varsity start for the Grizzlies.

'25 RHP Reece Hudson (Rocky Mountain HS) put together an incredible first start of the year. Rocky Mountain took on Middleton at home, and Hudson got the call on the mound. This turned out to be an impressive display of competitiveness, command, and efficiency from Hudson. In the premier match up Hudson threw 81 pitches, striking out 4 Middleton hitters, walking 1, and giving up 0 runs in the 1-0 victory over the Vikings. Hudson will certainly be getting the call again to take his place on the mound. The Grizzlies have a busy week with 5 games this week.
