Prep Baseball Report

Player of the Week (March 10-15): OF Easton Vivier

Gareth Dahlgren
Associate Director, Idaho

The Prep Baseball Idaho High School Player of the Week highlights the best performance for an Idaho High School player from the previous week.  Each week, High School coaches across the State are asked to fill out our questionnaire for Pitcher and Player of the Week, along with our scouting staff attending games and scouring box scores throughout the week.  Every Saturday a link will be pushed out on social accounts to the Player/Pitcher of the Week questionnaire with a deadline of Saturday night at 11:59PM, followed by the announcement on Sunday.

This weeks 'Player of the Week' honor goes to '26 Easton Vivier Mountain Home (Uncommited). Vivier had an impressive week at the plate, hitting for the cycle against Kimberly, along with hitting .600 over 4 games in 19 plate appearances with only 1 strikeout.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK: MARCH 10-15

'26 OF EASTON VIVIER  MOUNTAIN HOME (UNCOMMITTED)

STAT LINE (MARCH 10-15)

Doubles: 3
Triples: 1
Home Runs: 1
Hits: 9

'26 OF Easton Vivier (Mountain Home) came into the year with his bat hot and ready to go. Starting this year off going 9-15 at the plate with multiple extra base hits, consisting of 3 doubles, a triple, and a home run. Which one of each of those came in his astounding performance against Kimberly where Vivier hit for the cycle, the impressive feat propelled the Tigers to a 21-7 victory. Vivier's power is impressive, but at the same time he has shown his discipline while only striking out once in his first 4 games last week. This week the Tigers get back to work as they have 5 games this week.
