The Prep Baseball Idaho High School Player of the Week highlights the best performance for an Idaho High School player from the previous week.  Each week, High School coaches across the State are asked to fill out our questionnaire for Pitcher and Player of the Week, along with our scouting staff attending games and scouring box scores throughout the week.  Every Saturday a link will be pushed out on social accounts to the Player/Pitcher of the Week questionnaire with a deadline of Saturday night at 11:59PM, followed by the announcement on Sunday.

This weeks 'Player of the Week' honor goes to '25 Jack Gardner Sugar Salem ( CSI Commit). Jack went 6/9 with 2 home runs, 2 doubles, and 12 RBI's to help the Diggers topple over their competition last week.

'25 MIF/RHP Jack Gardner Sugar Salem (CSI Commit) had a week at the plate. Jack is known for how he spins the ball on the mound, but he showed versatility and power at the plate this week. Blasting 2 home runs, 2 doubles, and contributing 12 runs batted in. Jack is a competitor on the mound, with a 2500+ spin on his slider, but his work in the offseason has shown with his ability to collect extra base hits early in the year for the Diggers.
