The 2025 California high school baseball season is quickly approaching and, as usual, excitement is abound throughout the state. Players and coaches have been working in preparation for the upcoming season and, as is the case each year, there are some very talented players and teams across California.

Teams across the state have goals and aspirations to finish their seasons in their respective CIF Section Championship Game, but there is plenty of work to be done before that becomes reality. We hope to familiarize our readers with many of the teams across the state as we preview these individual programs across California. We will take you right up to first pitch this season with these team previews, eventually releasing our Preseason Power 25 rankings.

We are predominantly an upperclass loaded roster for 2025.

BOTTOM LINE

Our 2024 squad put together a very strong season winning around 75% of our games before taking a tough loss in the opening round of the CIF-Southern Section D1 playoffs. We are bringing back a group with plenty of experience and have a balanced squad from what we can do on the mound, to the ability to play defense and I like what our lineup presents on an offensive side. This group has a chance to put together another strong season in 2025 and hopefully a deeper playoff run - Coach Keester

PREP BASEBALL CA STAFF’S TAKE

With one of the top MLB draft prospects on a position player side in Anthony Pack headlining the Rams roster heading into 2025 there will be plenty of attention on them throughout the spring from both opponents and the MLB scouting community. Overall it's an intriguing club beyond just the star power of Pack as they have a strong Senior presence to guide this team and some up and coming Juniors to help make this an older club with the depth, experience and ability to make noise not only during league play, but in the month of May and the CIF-Southern Section playoffs. - Steven Hardesty Assistant Scouting Director
