Top Newcomers to the list
Among the 30 additions to the rankings in this update Seibert's entry at No. 10 tops the list. Following is a look at other notable additions to the list.
- 3B/RHP Wyatt Henseler (Emmaus) checks in at No. 13 following a big performance at the Preseason All-State Showcase where he showed power potential in his right-hand swing and an upper 80s fastball off the mound.
- 6-foot-2, 185-pound left-hitting infielder Sam Ruta (Pennsbury), an all-league selection as a freshman at the Hun School in New Jersey enters the rankings at No. 25.
- Infielder Peter Capobianco was a key contributor in Dallastown's run to the state finals a year ago. The 6-foot, 190-pound right-handed hitter enters the rankings at No. 40 following an impressive showing at the Preseason All-State Showcase.
- Outfielder Domenic Popa (Seton-La Salle Catholic) also impressed at the Preseason All-State Showcase. The left-handed hitter flashed a loose, handsy swing and many of the same fast-twitch actions possessed by his brother Nico who currently is a sophomore outfielder at Pitt.
