Coach Outlook: "We are looking to compete everyday and build experience through a tougher schedule than last year; we are opening up with GlenOak, playing Dover, New Philadelphia, Indian Creek, Edison, West Holmes again and adding Louisville, Poland Seminary, & last year's Division VI State Champion Hiland. Our League is always tough but we feel like we have the guys to put us in a position to win the League again. Our schedule will hopefully make us ready for another post season push. We talk about the “next guy up” mentality and we have guys ready to step up and fill some of the holes our Seniors; Landon James, Landen McClelland, Jacob Whitmore, and Garrett Broadwater left behind. We take pride in our small ball approach, our pitchers will be consistent around the plate and have kept up on their arm strength in the off season. Our defense needs to continue to make the routine plays that will keep us in games. We have some speed and some power and we hope to use both of those at the plate and on the bases. We have a core group of senior players with Cooper Haun, Hunter Allison, Branden Marshall and Isaac Husted that have been playing a long time together and hope to rely on their experience and leadership this season. Our younger guys have to step up but should fall into natural roles as our Juniors of Brayden Swearingen, Michael Mullen, Jaden Murphy return with varsity experience from their Sophomore season to add depth to our roster."
