As we move through the offseason, Prep Baseball Oregon continues our series of State Games Spotlights. This series aims to highlight standout performers at our top invite-only 2025 PNW State Games event. Prep Baseball spotlights aim to showcase players that Prep Baseball Scouts felt showed standout tools, large improvements in overall game, or potential upside moving forward. College coaches and recruiters should be sure to keep an eye on these prospects in the coming months.

Today, we spotlight '27 RHP/INF Elliot Hiestand. The junior from Oregon City High School was seen at multiple invite-only events in 2025, first at PNW Preseason All-State and later at PNW State Games. 

A lean 6'2 athlete, Hiestand filled up the strike zone with a fastball up to 82.9 MPH this summer, working exit velocities into the low 90's as well. Below is a complete breakdown of the prospect.
