February 15, 2026
On Friday, February 13th, the Prep Baseball Ontario staff hosted it's first Preaseason Invite of the 2026 season with the annual Mississauga Preseason Invite, hosted at the Athlete's Turf, home of the Ontario Blue Jays, in Mississauga, Ontario.
This event featured roughly 80 prospects in the 2026 - 2029 classes and it was a strong group to open up three straight sold-out events in Ontario that will feature some of the top players in their respective classes as players are competing for roster spots on Canada/Ontario's National Team's at events such as the Future Games, Senior Future Games, West Coast Games, New York State Games, NorthEast Senior Games and the Best of the West.
All players ran through a full workout that included batting practice and bullpens captured on our TrackMan, swings captured by Blast motion, 30-yard with splits captured by VALD Performance and positional metrics. Over the next several days we'll be highlighting top performers from the event within our post-event analysis. Stay locked into our social media channels over the next several days as we continue to push out video, leaderboards and more.
Today we'll start our deep dive into the data collected at this event within this Statistical Analysis story. Over the next couple of days we’ll be diving deeper into all of the data we collected rolling out even more coverage from the event.
