The Opterra Solutions Invitational showcased some of the top teams and talent from across the state, with Prep Baseball was on-site to cover the action throughout the weekend.

The tournament kicked off on Thursday and concluded on Sunday.

Connor Wells 2027 LHP Dorman

Showed why hes not only one of the top arms in the state but also in the cou ntry.  This imposing left handed frame at 6’5 was in total control in the game.  Was able to dominate hitters with his fastball as he was able to move it to both sides of the plate was ease.  Present stuff with tons of projection.  Fastball sat 87-90 mph while his Slider was 79-80 mph while can be used as a big time put away pitch.  Mechanically has a good clean longer arm swing while throwing from a ¾ slot with a little bit of crossfire while adding deception.  Great mound presence while proving again to be a top pitching around!!
