Aiken 6 Brookland-Cayce 2
Aiken and Brookland-Cayce face off in a big high school baseball showdown. Pitchers dual for most of the night with Aiken scoring late to send the game to extra innings before winning it in 11 innings.
Take a look below at the notes and videos of some players that stood out from the game!!
Cole Harmon, 2026, RHP/SS, Aiken Uncommitted.
Strength throughout and an athlete at 6-0, 180-pounds. Nice and easy operation on the bump with smooth mechanics. Arm moves freely with long action and good whip through release. Lower half is mobile, producing strong hip/shoulder separation with good extension and maintains strong balance throughout delivery. FB was 82-85 and touched 86, some hop up in zone for swing and miss but still developing consistency with command. SL with sharp bite at 74-76 played tricks on hitters all night, generating several swings and misses and ugly swings tunneling well off FB. Lot of upside to be uncovered for this athlete on the bump with more velo in the tank. A right-handed hitter at the plate that added a few hits with a big double in the 7th to bring the go-ahead run to 3B for his squad. More narrower base in the box with weight evenly distributed and some flex in the knees, shoulders and feet square to the mound with hands between shoulder and ear level. Sink into back him gets his weight on balance and stores up power, good rhythm with load/stride as upper half remains patient pre-swing, creating hand stretch at last second before footstrike. Forceful rotation of the lower half brings hands through zone with some quickness and his strength takes over with ability to put some heat on the baseball in a short swing. Strong all-around ballplayer still filling out with projection remaining.

Strong and athletic 6-0 180lbs. Long & whippy AA from a lower slot. Repeats mechanics, moves well. #PBSCisThere pic.twitter.com/9sO5DO9H4F

Extends here in T7 for a HHB into the corner for two bases. Some bat speed and a strong frame put juice on this pitch to move the line for his team. #PBSCisThere pic.twitter.com/itsNBn8vdt
