Check out the notes and videos below highlighting the top performers from this intense showdown!

Boone Miller, 2025, RHP, Dutch Fork

North Greenville commit. Physical and mature frame at 6-5 220-pounds, dual sport athlete. Moves well on the bump for size, really muscles the baseball with short and compact action. Good arm speed and creates a steep angle with a H3Q/near OTT slot. FB/CB combo tunnelling well off the high slot and flashed a CH. Backspins the baseball with good carry on FB sitting 82-86 for swing and miss in any quadrant. More velo in tank with more refined lower half mechanics. Spins a solid CB with 12/6 shape and some bite at times, avg feel. Battled through a few walks but limited threats throughout the game, tough to square up.

Isaiah Posey, 2027, RHP, White Knoll

Big time athlete listed at 6-4 185-pounds but has clearly added size and strength to long frame. Easy mobility on the bump with high-level athleticism, particularly in lower half. Natural movements without a lot of effort. Long and fluid arm stroke with a ¾ slot and legit whippy arm speed, explosive at release FB with ride&run was 86-88 (t90), was still popping 88s through 6th inning. Avg command of pitch but can really blow it by hitters when in the zone consistently. Snaps off a SL at 70-73, mixing in any count and flashes slurve-like shape at times. Solid feel for pitch and found a lot of success starting pitch in middle of plate and letting it dive away from RHH for swing and miss. Misses tend to be buried, not many offerings hung middle/up in zone. Tons of upside in the arm and should see the velocity continue to tick up. At the plate showed a nice swing as well. Right-handed hitter that stands upright in box with a wider base and weight distributed evenly. Chest and shoulders are preset back, and hands sit even with shoulder level. Little jumpy to the front foot, still putting timing of load/stride together, but quality balance and body control allow power to remain stored in back leg, and hands stretch back before bringing barrel in zone. Forceful rotation in lower half and shows quick bat speed with a good flat path. Plenty more strong performances on the horizon.
