Dorman 7 Eastside 4
Dorman and Eastside face off in a big high school baseball showdown. Both teams have strong players and a history of winning, making this a game to watch. With bragging rights on the line, this matchup is set to be a good one from the first pitch to the final out. Two of the top young arms in the state and the country match up in this one.
Take a look below at the notes and videos of some players that stood out from the game!!
Connor Wells, LHP, Dorman, 2027
Tall and lean frame with long levers oozing projection at 6-5 195-pounds. Good balance with solid mobility in all movements. Mid depth arm circle providing deception with long limbs and a 3/4 slot with some crossfire action. Tough to pick up out of the hand with the look, before mentioning the stuff. FB with ride&run sat 88-89 with some giddyup, at least average command. Flips in a SL at 78-81 out of same tunnel as FB and can freeze hitters and gets swing and miss. Also flashed a CH at 76. Big present arm talent with flexibility, ranked the #1 player in SC '27 class.
2027 LHP Connor Wells @DormanBaseball
Tall & lean 6-5 195lbs. Good feel for SL today racking up 10 Ks. Big extension with more velo in tank.
