Forest Acres Classic 2025: Day 2 Scout Blogs
April 16, 2025
The 20th annual Forest Acres Classic baseball tournament will be held April 14th-17th at AC Flora High School in Forest Acres. Prep Baseball South Carolina was on hand to watch these great teams and players.
Below we take a look at some players that stood out from Day 2 of the Tournament.
Rohan Bremmer | 1B | 2027 | AC Flora
Big and physical 6-3 210-pound frame with obvious present strength at only 15 years 7 months. Right-handed hitter in the box with a mostly upright and slightly open stance, hands held between his chest and shoulder level with a lower back elbow. Load starts with deep sink into back leg storing up power in lower half, can get a little jumpy with forward move, but maintains balance in lower half to be on time with footstrike and weight transition before releasing barrel. Longer levers can cause the path to be a little long, but has a strong inside-out approach and shows the ability to shoot liners the opposite way if he’s caught out front. Easy barrel speed in zone and generates hard hit balls with ease combining quickness in zone with a physical frame. Went 3-3 on the night with a backside double and single along with a long homer out to CF. Big upside in the bat.

The sophomore comes up with his 2nd XBH of the night with a moonshot to CF!!

Carter Harrington | RHP | 2025 | AC Flora
College of Charleston commit. Long levered 6-3 175-pound frame with projection remaining and more room to add on. Moves well with flexibility and fluidity down the mound, good extension. Hides ball well with longer AA, solid arm speed from a L3Q slot. FB with big arm side movement sat 89-91 really getting inside on RHH. Best offspeed was devastating CH at 84-85, tunneling very effectively off FB and was utilized to both RH and LH hitters. Solid depth with big late fade that mirrors running FB as hitters consistently swung over the top of it. Also spun a solid SL with two-plane depth at 76-79 showing feel for pitch and adding another wrinkle for hitters to think about, but didn’t need to use much due to success of swing and miss CH. Expect velocity to tick up as he gets to the next level with present athletic movements.

Athletic mover with good flexibility. Tough low slot creating movement on all offerings. Several whiffs out of FB/CH from same slot.
