Daniel came into the game looking for the 2 game sweep of Seneca and to extend their winning streak to sit atop of the region standings. Daniel would strike for 2 runs early highlighted by a Spencer Conn RBI single. Daniel would face some adversity with the loss of their starting pitcher before he threw his first pitch but was able to keep Seneca off the scoreboard for a little while. Seneca would strike for 5 runs in the 4th inning thanks to a big 2 RBI single from Kodie Long. That seemed to be all Seneca would need with Cutshall on the mound as he was able to settle in and keep Daniel of the board. Meanwhile Seneca was able to scratch 3 more runs across the board in the 6th inning to close out the big region win over Daniel 8-2.
