The Classic Scout Blog Part 3
March 13, 2025
The Classic featured top teams and talent from across the state, with Prep Baseball on-site for the action.
Hosted by Georgetown High School at the historic Mike Johnson Park, this eight-team tournament showcased high-level competition.
Below are notes and videos highlighting standout performances from each team.
Athletic frame at 6-0 175-pounds with developing strength, left-handed hitter. In the box, stands athletic and slightly closed, hands between shoulder and ear level. Longer swing but makes up for it with some hand speed, nice approach and can take what’s given to him with some solid barrel control. Good little player with more upside to be tapped into as more strength is added.

Smacks one to the pull side for a base hit. Takes what’s given to him with a nice approach. One to follow. #TheClassic2025 pic.twitter.com/HK33KR5d3p

2026 Kaedyn Harris, 1B/RHP, Chapin
Uncommitted. Strong 5-11 200-pound frame, left-handed hitter. In the box, stands with a wider base, weight distributed evenly and hands even with shoulder height. Not the cleanest path thru zone but can make hard contact with good strong hands and bat speed. Present pop to the pull side with some ability to go g2g.
