Fox Cities Preseason I.D.: Statistical Analysis

On Sunday, the PBR Wisconsin team made the trek to Appleton, the site of this year’s Fox Cities Preseason I.D. Over 100 prospects joined us over the weekend to participate in the East Central Wisconsin showcase, many of whom impressed our staff.

Below, we’ve compiled a list of the statistical leaders who participated in the Fox Cities event. As noted in yesterday's Quick Hits post, West De Pere was well represented in Appleton on Sunday. Sophomore Joshua Blount ran the day's fastest 60-yard dash and recorded one of the day's top exit velocities. Fellow 2021 backstop Kaden Kosobucki also had the lowest average pop time.

Xavier junior Christopher VandenHeuvel appears on just about every one of the leaderboards below. He had one of the top 60 marks, outfield throws, and recorded the best exit velocity of the event. As the No. 40-ranked 2020 in the state, he's among the most interesting uncommitted juniors still on the market.

Finally, Logan Schulfer (Stevens Point, 2021) showcased his advanced arm strength from both the mound and from behind the plate on Sunday. His 89 mph fastballs were the day's hardest by three ticks and his 83 mph throws out of the crouch were the best by far.
