Next up is the physical specimen and FIU commit, 2024 RHP/SS Bailey Thorne. At 6 foot 2, 190 pounds with a large frame, its a projectable arm with good tempo on the mound. Thorne has a short arm action from a ¾ slot, he's patient over the rubber and sits on his legs well to drive the ball downhill for an explosive finish. FB was 85-86 T88 with ridiculous running life, and very good extension to glove side to help him repeatedly pepper the outside edge. He has one of the nastier sliders in his class at 75-76, with tight rotation and late bang at 2600 rpm. You can hear it spinning from behind the plate, and it has late depth when he keeps his direction to the plate.
