St. Anthony vs Teutopolis

By: Clayton Hopfinger
Area Scout

Austin Borries, RHP, Teutopolis, 2026
Lindenwood commit. Currently ranked No. 79 in the state in the 2026 rankings. Stands in at a sturdy 6-foot, 206-pound frame. Athletic and controlled actions down the mound, throwing out of a ¾ slot. Borries came at hitters with a mid 80s FB that topped out at 87 on the day, coming in at hitters with some arm-side run. He also offered a mid-70s CH with plenty of arm-side fade and depth, and also worked in a mid-70s slider with 11/5 shape. The command may not have been at it’s best, but Borries was able to battle through it and keep the game close. Borries brought in the first run of the game as well, taking a Brock Fearday FB the other way in the first inning to put the Wooden Shoes on the board. Final line on the day for Borries: 6 IP, 7 H, 3 ER, 2 BB, 5 K.
