Best of the Fall 2026: Outfield Arm Velocity Leaders

As part of our Best of the Fall 2026 series, today we highlight outfield arm velocity from fall events across North Carolina. These numbers were captured using a Stalker Radar Gun during live defensive workouts designed to mirror real game action.

Outfielders worked through ground balls and fly balls, finishing each rep with a throw to a base, simulating the reads, footwork, and urgency required in game situations. This setup provides a more accurate look at how an outfielder’s arm strength translates when paired with movement and timing, rather than isolated throws.

The leaderboards below feature the top arm velocity numbers from the fall, identifying outfielders whose throws showed the carry and strength to impact games defensively. These metrics, collected in a live-action environment, offer valuable insight into how an outfielder’s arm is likely to play when it matters most.
