On Nov. 12th, thousands of high school baseball players across the country signed to lock in their commitments to their respective schools, with many of these signings hailing from Wisconsin.

Over the next few days, we will spend some time highlighting the names from Wisconsin that signed to play baseball at the Division I level. We’ll do so by breaking these names up by conference, continuing today with the Summit League.

NORTH DAKOTA STATE

Joseph Meeter OF / Holmen, WI / 2026

Rankings  StateRank: 29 / POS: 6

The Bison will add Senior Future Games standout OF Joseph Meeter (Holmen), a player who has steadily climbed our rankings since emerging in the winter of 2024. Currently ranked No. 29 in the state’s senior class, Meeter comes off an impressive spring campaign that earned him Conference Player of the Year and Third Team All-State honors. The right-hander’s twitchy athleticism stands out, highlighted by a 6.65-second 60-yard dash and a 20.7 mph top running speed. At the plate, the right-handed hitter displays easy power to all fields, with a max exit velocity of 103.2 mph, a 94.7 mph average, and a 389-foot max distance. Defensively, Meeter profiles well in the outfield, combining efficient routes to the ball with a strong arm that has topped 91 mph in-event.

From 7/31/25: “Currently ranked No. 42 in Wisconsin’s 2026 class. Presenting an athletic 6-foot-1, 192-pound frame with some upside, Meeter had one of the more impressive workouts during testing day. The right-hander began the day with a 6.65 sec 60-yard dash, reaching a 20.7 mph max run speed with a 30” vertical jump. He then showed easy power at the plate during the hitting portion. He finished with a 100.3 mph max exit velocity in BP, with four balls hit over 100 mph, a 94.7 mph average exit velocity, and a 353-foot max distance. He also would look the part in the outfield with a strong arm at a 91 mph outfield velocity.”

SOUTH DAKOTA STATE

Brookings was a popular destination for the state's 2026 class, as the Jackrabbits secured three Wisconsin products, tying them with UIC for the most commits among out-of-state programs. The program bolstered its pitching depth with the additions of two high-quality right-handed arms: RHP Liam Hagland (Germantown) and RHP Bryce Loker (Omro).

Liam Hagland RHP / Germantown, WI / 2026

Rankings  StateRank: 18 / POS: 5

Hagland, a player who emerged after a standout performance at our Milwaukee Preseason ID this winter, is a projectable arm with significant upside for the Jackrabbits. Currently ranked No. 18 in the state, the right-hander was dominant in his appearance at the Senior Future Games, tossing two scoreless innings while collecting five whiffs. Presenting a high-waisted 6-foot-1, 186-pound frame, the right-hander still still offers room for added strength. Hagland shows a strong feel for spin across his three-pitch mix, featuring an upper-80s fastball (topping 90.6 mph) with significant life out of the hand and a spin rate between 2,200-2,400+ rpm. He complements it with a sharp 11/5 curveball that has touched spin rates north of 2,800 rpm and a deceptive mid-80s changeup that mirrors his fastball’s arm speed.

From 7/31/25: “Currently ranked No. 60 in Wisconsin’s 2026 class. Standing in at a broad-shouldered 6-foot-1 frame with strength present throughout, Hagland showed some quality swing-and-miss stuff in Wednesday’s 8-4 win. The right-hander earned five whiffs across two innings, keeping hitters off-balance with his two-pitch mix. His fastball was 87-90 mph, topping 90.6 mph with a max spin rate of 2,443 rpm. He also employed a sharp, late breaking slider at 79-82 mph with a 2,868 rpm max spin rate. Hagland tossed two scoreless innings, only allowing one hit and two walks, collecting weak contact and adding a strikeout.”

Bryce Loker RHP / Omro, WI / 2026

Rankings  StateRank: 28 / POS: 10

Loker, a former member of Team Wisconsin at the Future Games, possesses a well-rounded three-pitch arsenal with the potential to make an early impact for the Jackrabbits. Coming in at a trim 6-foot-1, 163-pound frame with plenty of room to fill out, Loker is another arm to keep an eye on as he continues to develop into his frame. Currently ranked no. 28 in the state, the right-hander is fresh off a strong junior campaign with a 1.17 ERA over 30 innings. On the mound, he works a lively upper-80s fastball (topping 91.3 mph) with natural arm-side run. He pairs it with a big-breaking curveball spinning in the 2,300-2,400 rpm range and a fading changeup that shows up to 19.3 inches of horizontal movement. Loker also shows some intrigue at the plate with his bat-to-ball skills, registering a .452 batting average in the spring with 17 extra-base hits.

From 3/4/25: “RHP Bryce Loker (Omro, 2026; South Dakota State) showed exactly why he is a top player in the state of Wisconsin with his performance on Saturday. Loker was measured at 5-foot-11, 159 pounds last July at the Future Games at Lakepoint. He came into this event showing a bit more size and measured in at 6-foot-1, 164 pounds. The right-hander threw an extremely loud pen that displayed a quality three pitch mix with his fastball, curveball and change up. His fastball topped out at 91 mph with downhill angle through the zone to all four quadrants. The fastball set up a nasty late breaking two-plane curveball at 74 mph that he can land in the zone and expand below. His change up pairs well with the fastball out of the same tunnel as the heater and displayed late fade through the hitting zone. Loker, also showcased athleticism with a 7.15 seconds 60 yard dash and smooth actions up the middle on defense in his work as a position player. Loker is going to be an impactful arm at the next level and our staff is excited about what he is going to do this spring and summer seasons.”

Callen Tomsyck OF / Muskego, WI / 2026

Rankings  StateRank: 23 / POS: 4

The Jackrabbits also added one of the premier athletes in the state with OF/RHP Callen Tomsyck (Muskego), who played a key role as a two-way player on a talented Muskego team that claimed the 1A State Championship. Currently ranked No. 23 in the state, Tomsyck emerged as a big winner at the Senior Future Games, flashing one of the more complete tool sets in the Midwest. The right-hander possesses some of the top speed in the state, registering a 6.45-second 60-yard dash with a 21.7 mph max run speed. At the Senior Future Games, the right-handed hitter showed an advanced feel for the barrel in both testing and game action, posting a 100.4 mph max exit velocity, a 95.5 mph average, and a 386-foot max distance. He backed it up in games by going 6-for-7 with a home run, five RBIs, five runs scored, one walk, one stolen base, and five balls hit at 95+ mph. Defensively, Tomsyck displays quality reads in the outfield with a strong arm that has reached up to 91 mph. That arm talent carries over to the mound, as the right-hander works with a lively upper-80s fastball that shows life and run through the zone, pairing it with a sharp 11/5 curveball and a fading changeup.

From 7/31/25: “Currently ranked No. 25 in Wisconsin’s 2026 class. Working in a compact 5-foot-11, 177-pound frame with some strength present throughout, Tomsyck was another one of the biggest winners from both the showcase and the gameplay. The right-hander started the testing day off by running a 6.45 60-yard dash with a 21.7 mph max run speed. He followed that up with one of the louder rounds of BP, showing off some easy whole field power. He finished with a max exit velocity of 100.4 mph, with four balls hit over 98 mph, a 95.1 mph average exit velocity, a 91% hard hit percentage, and a 327-foot max distance. He also showed steady actions in the outfield with a strong arm that topped out at 91 mph in the fielding testing. He went on to carry this strong performance into gameplay. He finished 6-for-7 on the week, with a home run, five RBIs, five runs, one walk, one stolen base, and five balls hit over 95+ mph in gameplay.”

ST. THOMAS

Sam Abrahamson 3B / Hudson, WI / 2026

Rankings  StateRank: 26 / POS: 3

Building on an already strong roster, the back-to-back Summit League champions landed a former Team Wisconsin Future Games participant in 3B Sam Abrahamson (Hudson). Abrahamson, a well-proportioned 6-foot, 187-pound third baseman, possesses loud tools on both sides of the ball that should provide value for the Tommies. Currently ranked No. 26 in the state, he offers plenty to like as an athletic third baseman. He’s shown solid agility in testing, posting a 6.93-second 60-yard dash. At the plate, the right-handed hitter demonstrates a hitterish presence with the ability to drive the ball to all fields, posting a 100.7 mph max exit velocity and an 89.3 mph average in-event. Defensively, he showcases natural actions at the hot corner with a clean glove and a strong arm that has reached 87 mph across the diamond.

From 3/28/25: “Former 2024 Future Gamer and University of St. Thomas Commit, 3B/RHP Sam Abrahamson (Hudson, 2026), would show a quality two-way profile on Sunday. The right-handed hitter presented a wider base with a serious feel to hit, above-average barrel control, and natural loft in his bat path. Defensively, the third baseman would show steady actions throughout his defensive round with confident hands and fluid footwork, making throws across the diamond up to 87 mph. On the mound, the right-handed arm would show a hybrid, rocker step delivery with a compact, quick arm path. The fastball would sit 84-85 with life out of the hand and was thrown alongside a 78-80 sinker with late running action and a sharp, late-breaking slider with big two-plane action. Athletic 5-foot-11, 178-pound frame.”
