TEAM OUTLOOK

The Morse Tigers enter the 2026 season looking to turn the page after a challenging 2025 campaign, armed with a deeper, more experienced roster. Head coach Dallas Booker returns a core group that brings versatility across the diamond, with seven starters and six pitchers back in the mix. With pitching, hitting, and defense all cited as strengths, Morse is positioned to make noticeable strides as the roster continues to develop.

The Tigers’ returning uncommitted group features several key two-way contributors. RHP/OF Moises Davison (2026) headlines the staff and adds athleticism in the outfield, while INF/RHP Manuel Flores (2026) and INF/RHP Christian Fernandez (2027) provide valuable versatility as infielders who can also take the ball on the mound. INF Jorge Munoz (2026) looks to be a consistent presence the infield, and the lineup is bolstered by bats like OF/RHP Calvin Booker Jr. (2027), 1B Angel Salamanca (2027), and C/OF Jacob Hoffman (2027), giving Morse solid depth throughout the order.

The future appears to be bright with a strong group of underclassmen pushing for roles, including OF/RHP Joshua Steppe (2028), OF/RHP Damon Buscit-Cox (2028), and C Tommy Killingsworth (2028). A wave of talented freshmen and sophomores adds further depth and competition, particularly on the mound and in the infield. As this roster matures, Morse looks to have the pieces in place to take a meaningful step forward in 2026 and establish itself as a competitive program.

Quote from the Coach

“With seven returning starters from last year’s roster, the team brings valuable experience and continuity. We anticipate a highly successful season.”
