NEWCOMERS INSIDE THE TOP-100
OF Clayton Kroschel (Wayland Academy) is an athletic right/right outfielder standing at 6-foot-1, 185-pounds. At the plate, the right-hander swings a flat bat with strong wrists and leverages the baseball out front making contact through the middle of the field. Defensively from the outfield, Kroschel has the athleticism to play all three spots and enough arm strength up to 89 mph to keep runners honest.
LHP Gage Honeyager (Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln) Here’s a report from the Eastern Wisconsin Summer ID [8/21/24]: “...emerged as a must-follow arm from the event. He has a simple, stretch-only delivery that works into a medium balance point before moving down the mound with a drop/drive lower-half, staying in-line. His arm works long out of the glove in the back before transitioning into a ¾ slot with acceleration out front. His fastball stole the show, playing around 86-88 mph with carry and life that exploded through the zone, averaging 2,633 rpm in the process. His slider showed swing/miss potential with late bite off a 1/7 plane, playing around 74-77 mph with an average of 2,324 rpm. His final offering was a changeup that played with fade and feel to his arm-side at times, 76-79 mph. High-follow arm with a true three-pitch mix.”
INF Bradyn Kundinger (Waukesha West) Here’s a report from the Wisconsin State Games [7/30/24]: “...standing at 5-foot-8, 148-pounds with some room for added strength. Kundinger was one of the more polished 2026s in attendance defensively with easy range and athletic actions to both sides playing with soft and confident hands, overall looking like an up-the-middle defender in the infield. Kundinger’s arm works quick, getting the ball out quick with an easy arm action and accurate throws across. During BP the right-handed hitter has a simple and direct swing and makes consistent contact with some feel for the barrel overall.”
LHP Paxton Schuh (Kaukauna) Here’s a report from the Wisconsin State Games [7/30/24]: “...coming off of injury, provided a quality look on the mound at the Wisconsin State Games, standing at an athletic 6-foot-2, 195-pound frame. Schuh recently performed at The Rock earlier in the summer, and was more of the same this past week. The left-hander reached 84.5 mph with the FB, striking out three batters while allowing zero hits over the course of two innings pitched. Schuh filled the strike zone at an efficient rate—staying ahead of hitters in the process. The to-be junior continues to develop his four-pitch mix, including a solid CB and CUT, proving to be an intriguing follow over the next year.”
C/1B Ty Glysch (Muskego) Here’s a report from the Wisconsin State Games [7/30/24]: “...put together a solid showing throughout the two-day event, presenting himself in a physical 6-foot-3, 205-pound frame. Glysch is an athletic mover from behind the dish, finishing with a pop time of 2.13 seconds—reaching 72 mph from the crouch. Glysch does damage from the left side of the plate, showcasing a quick barrel and whippy hands within his physical stature. He finished with a max EV of 90.3 mph—continuing to raise his status as an under-the-radar uncommitted athlete.”
INF Brendan Foley (Arrowhead) stands at a strong and physical 5-foot-11, 188-pounds and starred on a strong Arrowhead squad that made an appearance in the WIAA state finals. Foley went on to continue to produce throughout the summer circuit making loud contact often throughout the season. Defensively Foley has steady actions and can play a number of spots across the infield.
INF Sam Scaffido (Kettle Moraine) is an athletic and projectable 5-foot-11, 150-pounds infielder that has impressed throughout the summer. At the plate, the right-hander swings a steady bat with feel for the barrel and to use the whole field. A flat path with leverage out front, consistently driving the ball on a line. Defensively in the infield Scaffido plays with steady and reliable actions with range to both sides, the arm is accurate and plays on the move and from multiple slots.
INF Jayden Reynaldo (South Milwaukee) is an athletic and lean 6-foot, 165-pound infielder with room to fill out. At the plate, from the right-side Reynaldo consistently drives the ball in the air and uses the whole field. Defensively in the dirt, Reynaldo has steady and athletic actions with an arm up to 84 mph across the diamond.
INF/OF Tristin Hundt (Sheboygan North) Here’s a report from the Eastern Wisconsin Summer ID [8/21/24]: “...is an athletic left-handed hitting infielder that impressed throughout Monday’s workout. At the plate, Hundt showed feel for the barrel and used the whole field throughout his round. In the field, Hundt moves easy from side to side with active feet and soft hands giving him a chance to stick up the middle, his arm plays with carry and makes accurate throws across the diamond.”
RHP Turner Dittrich (Arrowhead) Here’s a report from the Wisconsin State Games [7/30/24]: “...is an intriguing arm to follow from the event. Listed at a long-levered 6-foot-7, 210-pounds, the right-hander creates some deception with his tall/fall delivery, releasing from a higher ¾ slot. His fastball played in the low-80s, topping out at 84 mph and paired with a mid-70s slider and changeup around 70 mph. High-ceiling arm to know in the state that attacked the zone in our look.”
