We will take you right up to first pitch this season with these team previews and by continuing our scheduled podcasts and releasing our preseason top-10 rankings in each GHSA classification and Power 25.
Please keep checking back throughout the season as we will be your one-stop shop for everything related to high school baseball across the state.
Each week we will be releasing our Players of the Week, updating the top-10 ranks in each GHSA classification, as well updating our Power 25 overall rankings. One thing, especially, you don’t want to miss are our scheduled podcasts with guests from across the state, as well as the recaps and previews of the big games we’re covering.

TEAM OUTLOOK
Adairsville finished runner-up in the region and found themselves in the State Playoffs for the third straight season. The Tigers return an experienced group backed by strong pitching and defense. The starting rotation is led by an abundance of versatile upperclassmen and it begins with RHP/IF Hudson Parr. The uncommitted senior earned first team all region honors a year ago and brings invaluable experience along with consistency to both the rotation and lineup. Uncommitted ‘26 OF/IF/RHP Harrison Cole will be a swiss-army knife for Coach Roper this Spring as he holds down a spot in the rotation and provides a quality hit/speed combo as a reliable stick at the top-of-the-order. As well as offering defensive value at multiple premium positions. Uncommitted senior LHP Kaiden Coker is expected to shoulder key innings and give reliable starts each time out. The southpaw is armed with strong projection in a lean 6-foot frame and pitchability in the mid 80’s. A pair of juniors in RHP/OF McCayden Hufstetler and IF/RHP Westin Barfield round out the starting rotation as they look to see quality time on the mound with a chance to be fixtures in the rotation. Barfield could also be looking at a larger role in the lineup and showed well this Fall at the KSU Campus Tour. Leading the charge for the Tigers lineup is first team all region a year ago C Brody Varner. The uncommitted senior boasts a strong hit-tool and supplies lockdown defense behind the plate as well. Another uncommitted senior that is a consistent stick in the middle-of-the-order is IF Isaac Burnett who along with Parr and Varner earned first team all region honors last season. Uncommitted junior IF Hayden Miller looks to carry a huge role in the middle infield and will be another pivotal piece in the heart of the order. Fellow two-sports athletes and uncommitted juniors in INF/C Matthew Cook and OF/IF Evan Hardin bring athleticism and versatility to both sides of the ball. Coach Roper has a talented group of underclassmen that have a chance to break through and make an impact with names like RHP Tyler Parker, Blake Weaver, OF/C Huck Garlin, C Hunter Dudley , and OF Braden Slocumb. Adairsville returns a veteran group and expect success throughout ‘26 if they can throw strikes and get timely hits.
