Continuing through the winter months with an uncommitted player spotlight! Today we highlight 2027 SS Elijah Dockery out of Spencer County High School.

2027 Eli Dockery put together one of the most productive offensive seasons in the state during the 2025 high school campaign, leading Spencer County with a .462 avg, 49 hits and a state-best 52 runs scored, while also driving in 24 RBIs. Additionally, the RHH tallied 16 extra-base hits, including six home runs, while consistently finding ways on base by drawing 21 walks and getting hit 26 times. Dockery pairs a sub-7 second 60 yard dash time (6.95 s) with exit velocities climbing into the 90s, making him a constant threat once on the bases and projects as a middle-of-the-order bat moving forward.

Standing at 6’0” 165 pounds with more to come, his athleticism allows for multi-position versatility across the field. While he’s spent most of his time at shortstop, a future move to third base, second base, or a corner outfield spot could be in the cards as his frame continues to develop. A steady presence on both sides of the ball, Dockery led the Bears offensively and defensively and remains an intriguing uncommitted follow in the 2027 class as his tools and production continue to trend upward.
