Moss Bluff, LA - On Saturday, January 3, 2026, the Prep Baseball Louisiana staff traveled Sam Houston High School to host our first rising stars event of the year with our Lake Charles Rising Stars ID, which featured over 25 players in the state's 2030-2031 classes.  Our series of rising stars events are specifically for the 7th and 8th grade players and serves as an identifier for our Junior Future Games team at the end of the summer.  Each participant went through a pro-style workout that consisted of running a laser-timed 60 yard dash using Vald Performance, defensive evaluations, and batting practice using Trackman Baseball.  Each pitcher threw a bullpen with Trackman Baseball running to receive all of their pitching data and metrics.  Below, we take a look at some of the top statistical performers from Saturday's event.
