As we move through the offseason, Prep Baseball Oregon features an Uncommitted Spotlight, where we highlight standout performers who have attended a Prep Baseball ID event this year. Uncommitted spotlights are meant to showcase players that Prep Baseball Scouts felt showed standout tools, large improvements in overall game, or potential upside moving forward. College coaches and recruiters should be sure to keep an eye on these prospects in the coming months.

This week, we spotlight '27 1B/LHP Kye Leenders. The junior out of Tualatin HS showed well in 2025 at PNW Preseason All-State, where he will be seen again early in 2026.

A 6'1 prospect, Leenders showcases plus athleticism with a 6.79 run time and mid-90's exit velocities from the left side. Below is a complete player breakdown.
