2026 OUTLOOK

+ Friendship Christian School enters the 2026 season under head coach John McNeal looking to build consistency in TSSAA Division II–1A after finishing 16–15 a year ago. Competing in the Middle District, the Commanders return a solid group of varsity contributors while continuing to develop a young core that should allow them to take a step forward this spring.

Offensively, Friendship Christian brings back multiple returning positional starters who provide experience across the diamond. Miles Fitzpatrick (2026) anchors the infield at third base, while Dee Boone (2026) and Bradyn Stringer (2026) add athleticism and versatility in the outfield. Perez Parker (2026) returns to the infield after gaining valuable innings last season, and the catching corps is led by Jaxon Pulliam (2027) and Brody McCue (2028), giving the Commanders depth and flexibility behind the plate.

On the mound, Stringer and McCue headline the returning pitching staff, with Garrett Taylor also expected to log meaningful innings. A trio of impact underclassmen, Knox Tenpenny (2028), Kellan Lee (2028), and Ty Duckwiler (2028), adds depth and upside to the roster. With a balanced mix of experience and youth, Friendship Christian looks to be competitive in district play and make strides during the 2026 season.
